BJP flays CM KCR for adopting anti-farmer policies in Telangana
Hyderabad: State BJP president Bandi Sanjay Kumar criticised Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao for adopting anti-farmers policies.
Addressing media after a group of farmers from Adilabad called on him explaining how they were beaten by police for trying to reach out to CM at Pragati Bhavan to represent their woes.
Sanjay Kumar said a farmer named Devadas has fallen unconscious after suffering from symptoms of fits. And, the repeated pleas of the farmers have fallen on deaf ears for hours. It was only in the evening that the farmer was taken to Osmania Hospital, he added.
He said whoever seeking justice is being attacked and it exposes the anti-farmer, anti-student, anti-youth, anti-unemployed and anti-people policies of the TRS party trying to run the governance creating fear psychosis among people.
He also reminded attacks on the corporator in Myladeverapalli and students at OU for asking to provide basic amenities. The Karimnagar MP alleged that peace and tranquility in the State is at doldrums and the incidents in Adilabad where some people illegally owning firearms is a proof to it. However, both the CM and State Home Minister don't respond to such incidents.
