BJP leaders pay tributes to Martyrs in Khammam

Khammam: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders paid tributes to Martyrs on Monday here. The party State leaders DK Aruna, former MLC Dr Ponguleti Sudhakar Reddy along with other party leaders visited Telangana Vimochana at Errupalem of Madhira constituency.

They paid floral tributes to Martyrs, recalled their sacrifices and addressed the public meeting. They demanded that the State government celebrate Telangana Vimochana day on 17th September officially.

They condemned Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao's statement in Assembly that they should not celebrate September 17th officially. They recalled that the Chief Minster had promised in 2014 elections to celebrate 17th September officially. They said that the people were impressed by the Central government schemes and added that the party will come to power in 2023 elections in the State.

BJP leaders K Sridhar Reddy, Namburi Ramalingeswar Rao, Uppala Sharadha, B Prabhakar Reddy, Satyanarayana, MD Fazal and others attended the programme. Before the programme the party leaders took part a rally at Madhira.
