BJP leaders stage dharna in Mancherial

Mancherial: Bharatiya Janatha Party leaders staged dharna demanding celebration of Telangana Liberation Day officially on September 17 before Naspur Tasildar office and submitted representation to the special officer Shyamala Devi in Mancherial district on Monday.

Speaking on the occasion, the pary mandal president Pittala Ravi said that country secured freedom on 1947 but Telangan got liberation on September 17, 1948. If government fails to celebrate the Liberation Day, BJP will take up agitations, he warned.

The party leaders, mandal secretaries Mashineni Satish and Satram Rameh, vice president Erla Sadanandam, Samraj Ramesh, Syd Pasha, Gaddam Sreenu, Mahesh, Korapu Mahendar, Bussarapu Tirupathi and others were present.
