BJP slams KCR's apathy towards RTC strike

Hyderabad: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) State unit condemned Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao's unnatural indifference to the RTC employee unions who have formally declared to end their strike a few days ago.

The BJP alleged that there seem to be clear instructions to the depot managers from the CMO to not allow RTC employees to resume charge of their roles.

BJP State chief spokesperson K Krishna Saagar Rao said, "it is unprecedented vengeful attitude towards the employees from lower economic strata, which has muscled them into winding up their legal and rightful protest abruptly."

"BJP considers this as a defeat of the democratic spirit in Telangana State. The abrupt termination of the protest by RTC employee unions highlights the oppressive measures employed by the TRS government to undermine the rightful protest of RTC employees," he said.

The government should be ashamed of the methods they have adopted, lies they have spread and stone walling they have undertaken to crush the RTC strike, he added.
