'BJP, TRS are anti-working class'in Hanamkonda
Hanamkonda: Both the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) have proved that they are anti-working class, Communist Party of India (CPI) State secretariat member Thakkallapally Srinivas Rao said.
After hoisting the party flag on the occasion of May Day at the CPI district office in Hanamkonda on Wednesday,he said that Centre and State have undermined the rights of working class, which they achieved after a long fight against the establishment.
"Both BJP and the TRS governments are keen in protecting the interests of the corporate houses," Rao alleged, criticising them for continuing their anti-working class policies.
The plight of working class hasn't changed even after decades, he said, accusing the successive governments of adopting anti-labour policies like privatisation and out sourcing of employees.
He said that the government has blithe concern towards the working class as it never tried to implement minimum wages act wholeheartedly.
He demanded the government to protect the rights of working class by implementing minimum wages act besides ensuring ESI, provident fund, bonus and other facilities.
Recalling the significance of the May Day which symbolise revolution and struggle, he said that time has come for the working class to unite and wage a war against the government to achieve their justifiable demands.
