BJP will come to power in TS in next elections: Laxman
Khammam: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) State unit president K Laxman expressed confidence that the Saffron Party would come to power in the State in the next elections, at Kothagudem on Thursday. The party conducted a meeting with party leaders at Kothagudem Club.
Speaking to media after the meeting, Laxman fired salvos at the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) government and alleged that the government has failed to implement the poll promises. He said the TRS party is a family party.
He said the recently concluded parliamentary elections is one such example to show that the BJP has developed in the State. He said the people in the State are welcoming the BJP party. The people are impressed by the schemes taken up by the Central government and the ruling of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, he added.
Laxman strongly spoke about the issues of Singareni workers and said that only the BJP government would be able to solve the issues of Singareni workers. He asked the workers to support the BJP affiliated Union in the upcoming election in the company.
He also said in just seventy days after coming back to power, the Central government settled the Jammu and Kashmir issue. While talking about the podu land issue, he said the issue would be taken to the Prime Minster in coming days.
He said the party is striving for the development of Lambada and adivasi people in the State. He was welcomed by the party leaders at Khammam and coal town Kothagudem on a grand note.
MP G Rama Mohan Rao, Former MLA Ponguleti Sudhakar Reddy, Former MLAs Satyavathi, Abbaiah, district party president B Prabhakar Reddy and other leaders attended the meeting.
