BJP's Rao makes chai to impress upon voters
Khammam: The Bharatiya Janata Party has been relentlessly working for the welfare of people ever since it came to power in 2014, noted Khammam BJP candidate Devaki Vasudeva Rao, adding that people are happy with the welfare schemes introduced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Vasudeva Rao campaigned in Khammam district court premises on Monday. On the occasion, he appealed to the advocates and court employees to vote for BJP. Speaking at a meeting held at the district court bar association conference hall, Vasudeva Rao said, the party gave him the MP ticket based on his education qualification and social service.
He added that as a member of the ruling party at the Centre he would be able to bring more national attention to Khammam district. Taking the inspiration of chaiwala PM Narendra Modi, he appealed to the voters to vote for the saffron party by preparing tea for them in the court canteen.
He visited the Annam Welfare Home in Khanapuram Haveli and enquired about the facilities being provided to its residents. Later, he met Marwadi families at the Ajeej Street and requested them to vote for him. He said that the country has been progressing under Modi's rule and he appealed to vote for him to make Narendra Modi PM again.
