Blood donation a wonderful gift to fellow human beings
Karimnagar: Blood donation is a wonderful gift a person can give to fellow human beings, who are badly in need of blood to save their lives, observed Manakondur Tahsildar D Rajesh. He inaugurated a voluntary blood donation camp at Nijayathigudem village of Manakondur mandal on Sunday.
The members of Indian Youth Secured Organisation (IYSO), Anti-Corruption Team (ACT) of India and Young India Mission (YIM) in association with Government Civil Hospital Blood Bank, Karimnagar had organised the blood donation camp.
Attending as a chief guest, D Rajesh congratulated the members of various youth organisations for their collective efforts in conducting such social service activities voluntarily and appreciated the youth, who donated blood.
The Tahsildar said that any healthy person, who is above 18 years, can donate blood two to three times in a year in the nearest hospital and need not fear any health issues after donating blood. After a person donates blood, the amount of blood will be formed within two or three days and the person will have an active life as new blood forms in his body.
Rajesh appealed the youth to continue the noble cause to save the lives of fellow human beings and for building a better and healthy society and assured of total support for the social and betterment of the community.
D Sridhar, M Mahesh, B Raju, N Shivakoti, M Akhil, K Ajay, A Ramesh, V Rakesh, G Madhukar, S Prasad, S Ramu, S Laxman, P Ramesh and others donated blood in the camp.
Revenue Inspector Raghavender Reddy, village secretary N Shivakoti, founder-president of youth organisation IYSO and ACT India Ghansham Ojha, Rakshanda Ojha and Blood Bank Official Rehman were present along with others.
