BMI check-up camp held at NTPC

Ramagundam: A Bone Mineral Density (BMD) health check up camp was organised by the Dhanwanthari Hospital in association with Yashoda Hospital, Hyderabad here at National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC) in Ramagundam on Saturday.

Inaugurating the camp, the Enforcement Director of NTPC Dr PP Kulkarni appreciated the hospital management for organising such camp and advised the people to go for regular checkup of BMD.

Where as Dr Sasmita Dash, the Chief Managing Officer of NTPC highlighted the importance of the BMD and to take corrective measures to prevent any further complications in future.

As many as 170 persons attended the free health check up camp and about 100 patients underwent the BMD test by the orthopedic doctor DrRajendra of Yashoda Hospital. Later, the officials of NTPC participated in the Haritha Haram programme and planted the saplings on the hospital premises.

General Manager PK Laad, the incharge president of the Deepthi Mahila Samithi, Sofie Mathew Verghese, NTPC senior officials, office bearers, employees, union members and doctors of the hospital and others were present on the occasion.
