Body of Telangana man who drowned in US reaches his hometown

The dead body of the youngster who accidentally drowned in the US has reached his home town Bellampally today 12 days after his death.

Shravan was reportedly drowned while snorkelling at Destin beach in Florida where he went out with his friends on April 22. Shravan's body was supposed to reach his town within five days but it took 12 days to complete the formalities and reach Bellampally.

The victim had gone to the US to pursue higher studies in 2014. A pall of gloom descended on his native place after his body reached the town.
