Book on tourist destination launched

Hyderabad: Vihari Book - 2019, which gives a sneak peek into various tourist destinations in the country, was launched by Tourism Secretary B Venkatesham at the Secretariat here on Monday.

The senior IAS officer hoped that the book would get a good response from readers and tourists similar to Vihari-The Traveller,' a TV serial focussing on tourism and travel.

He further wished that this handbook would meet the needs of the readers in providing in-depth information about various tourist places in India, which a traveller should know before they embark on a vacation.

The book would help in planning a holiday to any destination with details about the best season to visit, means of travel, weather conditions, hotels and accommodation, nearby places to watch thus act as a guide and also help in saving money.

The publishers thanked Telangana Tourism for their support in various aspects in developing tourism and supporting their initiatives like "Traveller Be Safe, (a CSR activity) that aims at spreading awareness for taking right precautions and safe travel.
