Bringing Prashanth back safely our first priority: Cyberabad CP

Hyderabad: Cyberabad Police Commissioner V C Sajjanar assured full support to Prashanth's father Babu Rao after he met the Commissioner seeking his intervention on the issue.

He said the police submitted a report to the State government and Central government regarding this issue and said a legal procedure already started by the Indian Embassy officials in this regard.

The CP said their first priority is to bring Prashanth to India safely and later the investigation will continue.

He alerted people not to believe rumours which were viral on social media and on some news channels that a few months ago an official of RAW (Research and Analysis Wing) met Babu Rao and sought details of Prashanth.

He ruled out that no such incident happened nor any evidence regarding that is available till now. The Commissioner further clarified that it is only a missing case and soon after the legal procedure done by External Affairs Ministry Prashanth will be brought back to India and handed over to his family safely.

He warned that serious action would be taken against the miscreants who were spreading fake news and misleading the public.
