British Council delegation interacts with Minister, TSCHE officials
Hyderabad: A delegation of British Council of India led by Janaki Pushpanathan, Director, South India, British Council, called on Minister for Education G Jagadish Reddy here on Monday at the office of Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) and interacted with Prof T Papi Reddy, Chairman, TSCHE, Prof R Limbadri, Prof V Venkata Ramana, Vice-Chairmen, TSCHE and O Narsimha Reddy, member, TSCHE.
The delegation expressed its keen interest to collaborate with the State in the areas of the school, technical and higher education.
The delegation complimented the TSCHE and the initiatives being taken to enhance quality and internationalisation of higher education.
The officials identified broad areas, which included capacity building of teachers (train the trainers), promoting internationalisation and academic exchanges through active student participation in various events, seminars, symposiums etc. Also, promoting, innovation, incubation and employability in Higher Education.
TSCHE officials explained the initiatives being taken in the field of higher education. The British Council delegations felicitated the Minister and extended the invitation for participation in the Education World Forum to be held on January 21-22 in London.
