Burglars threaten woman at knife point, steal valuables worth Rs 11 L in Adilabad

Two burglars stole away valuables worth Rs 11 lakh from a house at Tatiguda in Adilabad on Saturday night.

Getting into details, Raipalli Ram Lakshman Das, a native of Tatiguda in Adilabad went to Nirmal on Saturday leaving his wife alone. When the woman was returning inside the home after locking the gate, the burglars attacked the woman, gagged clothes into her mouth and threatened at knifepoint.

They stole Rs 35,000 cash, 270 grams gold ornaments and other valuables which worth Rs 11 lakh from the house and fled the spot. The police reached the spot along with the dog squad after the woman called up them.

DSP Venkateshwar Rao registered a theft case and launched an investigation.
