Call to oppose Walmart

Warangal: The onus is on small traders and unemployed youth to oppose the entry of Walmart, multinational business entity, the All India Universities Employees Confederation (AIUEC) vice-president Dr Pulla Srinivas said. Speaking at a meeting here on Wednesday, he said that the Central government should take measures to protect the small traders in the country. Srinivas said that discussion is on to garner the support of various trade unions to oppose the entry of Walmart stores.

Mettu Ravi, Sangala Rajamouli, K Chiranjeevi, S Balaji and Dr Sangala Ephraim Raju were among others present.
