Campaign to prevent water theft held in Malkajgiri

Malkajgiri: Malkajgiri Water Works DGM Bhaskar, along with manager Sheila and Water Board staff, conducted awareness programme on prevention of water theft at BJR Nagar colony on Thursday.

Speaking on the occasion, he said that action would be taken against those who have illegal taps as it is a crime. He appealed colony residents to regularize their illegal water connections. He urged people not to waste water. Water works staff Yadi Reddy, Shankar, Vinay, Vijaya Lakshmi, Venkat, Siddheshwar and others participated in the programme.
