Candidates adopt new methods to woo voters in Wanaparthy
Wanaparthy: The ZPTC and MPTC candidates from different parties as part of their election campaigning for the second phase of elections are adopting innovative methods to attract the voters. They are not shying away from doing anything to attract the attention of public.
In Mastipur village of Amarchinta mandal of Wanaparthy district, Mastipur MPTC candidate Satyanna is visiting every household as part of campaign and falling on the feet of every individual and urging them to bless him during the elections. "I need the blessings of people of my village and I regard them as my Gods and there is nothing wrong if I fall at their feet seeking their blessings," observed Satyanna.
So far, Satyanna has already completed his first round of election campaigning where he visited them casually in the first round. However, as part of campaigning, he has adopted a new tactic and falling at the feet of every individual to get their support in the form of votes.
A similar case was also observed by the BJP candidate MPTC candidate from Peddakottapally mandal, where the BJP nominee had written his promises on a bond paper and submitted it in the gram panchayat office and if the public elected him as MPTC he promised to provide free rice to every household for one year in his village.
While the TRS party candidates are relying on the government schemes and the development and welfare programmes done by the TRS party in the last five years, others are trying innovative methods to woo the voters.
