Car will go to shed in Nizamabad: Komati
Yadadri-Bhongir: Congress candidate from Bhongir Lok Sabha constituency Komatireddy Venkat Reddy promised that he would make Bhongir MP constituency a role model constituency in the State if elected to power.
He toured Aler and Ibrahimpatnam Assembly constituencies on the last day of poll campaign on Tuesday.
Taking potshots at Telangana Rashtra Samithi, Komati stated that "car would go to the shed" in Nizamabad and turmeric farmers will teach a befitting lesson to KCR's daughter and TRS MP candidate from Nizamabad, K Kavitha.
He predicted that with the blessings of people, the Congress was going to bag 10 MP seats in the State in Parliament elections, slated to be held on April 11.
He reiterated that a financial aid of Rs 6,000 per month to 5 crore families below poverty line under Nyuntam Aay Yojana would help them lead better life. Similarly, Rs 2 lakh crop loan will be waived off in a single go if party comes to power at the Centre.
He listed out failures of Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao and TRS party candidate from Bhongir Boora Narsaiah Goud in the last five years.
In Ibrahimpatnam, along with party leader Malreddy Ranga Reddy, Komatireddy Venkat Reddy's daughter Srinidhi, Komatireddy Rajgopal Reddy's son Sankeerth Reddy participated in the poll campaign and emphasised the need to support Congress in the Parliament elections in the interest of the State and the country.
