CCTV cameras give peaceful sleep to residents: SP Vishnu S Warrier

Adilabad: Superintendent of Police Vishnu S Warrier inaugurated CCTV surveillance cameras control room at Koutala B village under Boath mandal in Adilabad district on Thursday.

Addressing on the occasion Vishnu said that under CCTV surveillance cameras village will have a tranquil atmosphere and people could sleep comfortably in the night with confidence. Anti social elements and criminals will not wander in the villages where there are CCTV surveillance cameras are installed.

He called upon the people to install CCTV surveillance cameras in their villages and police will give cooperation to them. Proposals are being prepared to install CCTV cameras in towns, mandals and villages in the district. These cameras are very helpful in giving protection to people and women, he added.

With the help of Village Development Committees some CCTV surveillance cameras will be installed in near future, he said. With the help of people, police can control anti-social elements and the district is very calm without any untoward incident.

He wanted the people to inform the police if they found any movement of anti social elements or any crime, unknown persons. And unemployed should leave bad path, get a job and bring good name to their parents and village, he said.

Adilabad DSP Venkateshwar Rao, Boath Inspector Konka Mallesh, Sub Inspector Satish, village Sarpanch K Radhika, VDC chairman Bhumaiah, MPTC Pidugu Shirisha, Vice Sarpanch Chilaka Ravi and others were present.
