Central drug control seeks info

Hyderabad: Central drug control authorities sought information on the ongoing clinical trials controversy in Niloufer hospitals.

A team of officials visited the hospital on Friday and spoke to doctors and staff on this issue.

They also took related documents and information with them to go through them in details.

Hospital sources stated that the central team was on a regular visit and in wake of the ongoing row collected details about it.

Meanwhile, the State-appointed committee will visit the hospital on Monday to probe this allegation of clinical trials being conducted in violation of rules.
