Central govt trying to saffronise education in the country: BV Raghavulu
Nalgonda: The CPM politburo member BV Raghavulu stated that both the Central and the State governments became slaves to industrialists and corporates.
On Monday, he participated as guest to party regional meeting of Nalgonda, Suryapet, Yadadri-Bhongir and Janagoan districts party workers held at a private function hall in Nalgonda town.
Addressing the gathering, he said the Central government had completely ignored the poor, middleclass and farmers in the central budget.
The Central government under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi drafted a new education policy in order to saffornise the education system in the country, he alleged.
"The BJP is taking all necessary steps in favour of privatisation, industrialists and corporates as the number of communist MPs decreased in 2019 Parliament elections," he said.
Stating that corporates helped BJP to come to power at the Centre for the second time, he called upon party leaders and cadre to get ready for agitations to render justice to people struggling for their bread and butter.
Party state secretary Tammineni Veerabadram, in his speech, expressed his concern over Telangana MPs inefficiency in realising the promises included in State Reorganization Bill.
He criticised hat division of municipal wards and preparation of voter lists was going on at the behest of ruling party leaders. He suggested the State government divide the wards democratically by taking the opinions of opposition parties into account by conducting an all-party meeting.
Former MLC Cherupally Seetha Ramulu, Mudireddy Sudhakar Reddy, Mulakalapally Ramulu, MD Jahangir, Kankal Reddy, Mallu Laxmi, Tummala Veera Reddy, Mallu Nagarjun Reddy, Kondamadugu Narsimha and others attended the meeting.
