Chandanapally peasants express solidarity to farmers struggle in Delhi
Nalgonda: CPI (M) district council member Paladugu Nagarjuna demanded the government to immediately cancel the three agricultural laws introduced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in favour of corporate powers and also demanded them to withdraw the power amendment bill.
On Saturday, Chandanapally village farmers of Nalgonda mandal expressed their solidarity to farmers' struggle in Delhi.
Farmers, labourers and women of the village staged a protest at the village centre and demanded the withdrawal of agricultural laws brought by the Narendra Modi government at the Centre and also demanded a revoke of the Electricity Amendment Bill.
Speaking on the occasion, CPM leader Paladugu Nagarjuna said that the Central government was not responding to the concerns of farmers of the country to repeal the power amendment bill and pro-corporate three agricultural laws.
He criticised the Central government for implementing anti -farmer policies and at the same time have been making laws in favour of corporates, capitalists and landlords.
