Cheques distributed to kin of deceased home guards

Hyderabad: City Police Commissioner Anjani Kumar on Tuesday handed over six cheques to four families of deceased home guards and two families of retired home guards of Rs 3.01 lakh each, who expired and retired during the months of October and November 2019.

The support extended to the families in the form of welfare cheques by fellow home guards through self-contribution of Rs 50 per head.

The scheme is being implemented with effect from July 12, 2019 after taking the approval from the Commissioner of Police.
