Chicken price dropped in Telangana due to Covid-19 effect

Hyderabad: The chicken price, which was touching nearly Rs 200 per kg has drastically dropped across Telangana. Amid of Covid-19 gripping its fear, the people have stopped consuming chicken, resulting in the drop of the price.

In this context, a chicken weighing 2kg was sold for Rs 70 at Gopalpeta village in Nagireddypet Mandal of Nizamabad district. A poultry farm owner has brought chickens in an auto trolly at a weekly market at Yellareddy and sold them for less price.
