Hyderabad: A complaint lodged against Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao and Transport Minister P Ajay Kumar in Kanchanbagh police station on Tuesday, urging legal action against them by alleging that they have abetted the RTC employees to commit suicides.

According to police, the complaint lodged by an advocate by name K Karuna Sagar, alleging that the statements by the chief minister that 48,000 striking employees dismissed themselves by not joining the duty before the expiry of the government deadline and ruling out taking back these employees into TSRTC roles abetted the employees to take extreme step.

Sagar also alleged in his complaint that due to the fear of losing their jobs, Khammam depot RTC driver D Srinivas Reddy self-immolated by pouring kerosene on himself and due to burn injuries he died on Sunday in DRDO Apollo Hospital in Kanchanbagh police station limits while undergoing treatment.

However, replying to his complaint, the SHO of Kanchanbagh police station J Venkat Reddy said the complaint was forwarded to Khammam II Town police station on point of jurisdiction since already a case was registered in that police station.
