City police arrested opposition party leaders who left for the protest at Intermediate Board

In view of opposition parties protest in front of Board of Intermediate Education (BIE) office at Nampally today, city police beefed up security at Board premises. They have arrested the senior leaders of the opposition parties including Congress, TJS, CPI, TDP and BJP leaders who left for the protest along with their supporters. Police house arrested City Congress President Anjan Kumar Yadav and his followers and party workers in different parts of the city.

TPCC President Uttam Kumar Reddy, TJS supremo Kodandaram , CPI leader Chada Venkat Reddy criticised the Telangana Government and police over the arrests.
