Civic chief visits Swamy Vivekananda School in Hanamkonda
Hanamkonda: As part of Swachh Bharath and prevention of Dengue, Warangal Municipal Commissioner Ravikiran, corporator and civic staff visited Swamy Vivekananda High School at Padmakshi Colony in Hanamkonda on Thursday. Speaking on the occasion, the Commissioner said to keep the water in coolers and near the trees to prevent mosquitoes in houses. If the water in coolers and near plants, mosquitoes will lay 300 to 500 eggs in two weeks, which will cause dengue fever, he explained. Hence, everyone should maintain their houses and surroundings clean without water stagnation.
He told the students to separate wet and dry garbage and hand it over to the Swachh auto. School Principal D Uma Rao, management members G Narsaiah, Dr K Sadasiva Reddy, Dr K Somireddy, T Venkateswarlu, Ch Manikya Rao, teachers Harikrishna, Ravikiran, Rajendra Prasad and Joy Prakash and students were present on the occasion.
