Civil Supplies department cracks whip on erring petrol pumps

Hyderabad: The Department of Civil Supplies has taken serious note of irregularities in petrol and diesel pumps as there have been umpteen complaints.

There have been allegations that the petrol and diesel pump owners are reducing the quantity to unspecified standards and are also selling adulterated fuel.

Taking note of the complaints, the Department directed its District officials to conduct special inspections on petrol pumps.
