Class 10 student hangs self in Sangareddy

A class 10 student committed suicide by hanging himself from a tree here at Kondapur mandal of Sangareddy district.

Ratnam (15) is pursuing Class 10 at Social Welfare Residential School in Girmapur village of Kondapur mandal. He hails from Tadikkal village of Kohir mandal. The reason behind his extreme step is yet to be ascertained by the police. The Kondapur police registered a suspicious death case and are investigating.

On December 15, an intermediate first-year student attempted suicide at his home in Mahboobnagar after being harassed by his seniors in the college. Santosh consumed poison when no one was at one and fell unconscious by the time his family returned home.

They shifted him to a local hospital where he is undergoing treatment.
