Close shave for 50 passengers as TSRTC bus rams into median at Karimnagar

A TSRTC bus with 50 passengers on board rammed into a median near Prathima multiplex in Karimnagar on Wednesday.

It is learned that the bus bound to Sircilla from Karimnagar suffered brake failure following which the bus hit the median. No casualties have been reported. "Learning the brake failure, I drove the bus towards collectorate which in turn hit the divider," said the bus driver.

The police reached the spot and helped the passengers to get down from the bus. Meanwhile, the RTC officials inspected the bus and launched an inquiry.
