Hyderabad: Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao had claimed that the prestigious Palle Pragathi and Pattana Pragathi programmes have changed the entire Telangana State's landscape.
He said that the villages in the State have become role models to others in the country. "Every village in Telangana State has tractors, dump yards, plant nurseries, village natural forests, safe and pure drinking water to every household through pipes under Mission Bhagiratha programme. Such programmes are nowhere in any other State or in the country. This is a feather in Telangana State's cap," the CM said.
He added that the government was releasing every month Rs 308 crore to gram panchayats without fail. This was helping panchayats take up developmental works without any hindrance. The CM asked the Mandal Panchayat Officers to regularly visit the villages.
