CM KCR offers prayers at Medaram Jatara

Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao offered prayers to Goddesses Sammakka and Saralamma at Medaram on Friday. The CM first offered obeisance to Sammakka at her altar, then Saralamma, Govindaraju and Pagididdaraju.

He also offered silk robes on behalf of the State Government to the deities. Later, the chief minister also offered jaggery equal to his weight (Tulaaram) to the deities.

Earlier in the day, Telangana governor Tamilisai Sounderarajan and Himachal Pradesh governor Bandaru Dattatreya took blessings from the deities at the Jatara and offered jaggery and silk clothes.
