CM KCR to hold review meeting on Wednesday over lockdown and agriculture sector
Telangana chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao is said to be holding a high-level review meeting on the steps to be taken as the lockdown is due to end on May 31 and the discussion of the upcoming monsoon season. KCR as popularly known as will meet with ministers and officials at Pragati Bhavan tomorrow at 2 pm on Wednesday. The actions taken against Corona and the implementation of the lockdown will be discussed at this meeting and a decision will be taken on the future course of action.
The CM would decide on the policy to be implemented over lockdown exemptions in Hyderabad. As the monsoon season is fast approaching, the CM will review the availability of regulated agriculture, fertilizer and seed availability. On the other hand, the meeting will have the celebrations of Telangana state formation day to be held on June 2 as an agenda.
Meanwhile, the state has recorded 66 new cases on Monday taking the total tally to 1920 with 700 active cases and 56 deaths. Out of 66 new cases, GHMC recorded 31, Ranga Reddy 1, Migrants 15, foreign evacuees 18 and one from Maharashtra.
