Coal workers boycott Mining in Singareni Colleries in Peddapalli district

Demanding good compensation to the bereaved families of the four workers who died in a blast incident, coal workers boycotted their duties at the open cast one mining in Singareni collieries in Peddapalli district.

In the freak explosion which happened on Tuesday, four workers were killed on the spot and another three received serious injuries. The workers were staging a big dharna in front of the mining centre demanding the management to pay exgratia and also a job to one of each victim family.

The Singareni management is holding talks with the representatives of workers unions to arrive at a consensus on their demands.
