Collector Ayesha Masrat Khanam's call for unity, amity
Parigi: District Collector Ayesha Masrat Khanam said on Wednesday that people should live in unity and harmony and eradicate social evils like untouchability. She was participating in a meeting on the civilians' rights day at Naskal village.
The Collector stressed that irrespective of caste and religion, people should work for overall development, in keeping with rights granted by the Constitution. She advised the educated youth must avail of employment opportunities offered by SC/ST Corporations.
The Collector informed the SC Corporation in association with DRDA and animal husbandry departments is providing country chicken to the widows in the age-group of 21-60. She said eligible candidates should approach their MPDO office with credentials.
