The DM while giving the detailed routes in which the RTC buses are plying in the district said that at present the buses are plying only in 23 routes as against a total of 38 routes in the district. To this the district collector said from 13th October onwards buses must ply in all the routes and accordingly the drivers and conductors must be trained.

The Wanaparthy collector directed the DM to conduct awareness and training programmes to the newly recruited bus conductors and drivers so that they adopt all the safety measures while driving the bus in challenging routes. "It has come to our notice that in some routes the bus drivers and conductors are facing it tough to run the buses. For all such bus routes we have decided to provide VROs and a police constable to such routes so that there will not be any problem for the RTC staff to deliver their services," said the Wanaparthy collector.
