Collector expresses displeasure over dirty Nizamabad city
Nizamabad: District Collector Ram Mohan Rao on Saturday visited the streets of Nizamabad city and expressed his displeasure over dirt strewn around. The Collector ordered municipal officials to carry out a special drive throughout the city and clean up the streets and roads.
He said the potholes should be filled and mosquitoes breeding should be prevented by fogging. On his way to Malapalli Urban Health Center, the Collector advised doctors to attend more patients and avoid shirking duties.
The Collector also visited Akula Kondoor village in Nizamabad Rural mandal. He advised villagers to have a comprehensive discussion on the infrastructure to be created by the government.
The cemetery should also provide basic facilities, he said, adding that a place to give some relief to the suffering people should also be built. The Collector told the people that if they plant five trees in their houses, the village would be like a forest. Collector Rama Mohan Rao planted a tree on the occasion. MPDO Sanjeev was also present on the occasion.
