Collector M Hanumantha Rao says passbooks to all ryots next month
Jogipet: Sangareddy Collector M Hanumantha Rao made a surprise visit to the tahasildar office here on Thursday. He interacted with farmers and enquired about their issues. Many farmers complained to him about the delay in issuing passbooks despite several appeals.
He pulled up the officials and assured the farmers that all issues would be pursued in the first week of June, immediately after the municipal elections. He said Jogipet VRO was suspended from the duties due to negligence.
Later, the Collector visited nurseries in Dakur, Kichannapalli and other villagers. He appreciated a nursery owner Ramulu at Dakur. He announced Rs 5,000 for the nursery which could save 100 per cent saplings. Disappointed over the maintenance of a nursery at Kichannapalli village, he removed the field assistant.
In this regard, he directed MPDOs to ensure that all field assistants visit all nurseries every day. He interacted with the villagers on the occasion, and enquired about health and hygiene conditions in their localities. He checked the sanitation around and later inspected a drinking water facility.
