Collector RV Karnan inspects Khammam town ahead of Pattana Pragathi implementation
Khammam: Before the launch of Pattana Pragathi programme from Monday, District Collector RV Karnan visited the Khammam town on Sunday and observed divisions of the Khammam Municipal Corporation along with Municipal Commissioner Anurag Jayanthi and others. The Collector, during his visit, observed the damaged electric polls and 15 transformers besides night shelters, CC roads, sewer lines and public toilets.
Later, speaking at a review meeting conducted with the officers at the Collectorate on Sunday, Karnan informed that the Pattana Pragathi programme would begin from Monday and directed the officials to lay special interest in the programme and make it a grand success. Adding that the programme would be conducted for 10 days in all municipalities, the Collector asked the officials to identify issues plaguing the wards and address them immediately. Giving a detailed day-to-day works to be taken up during the programme, he suggested the public representatives to provide all support to the officers for the programme.
Additional Collectors Sneha Latha Mogili and Madhusudhan, Khammam and Kallur Revenue Divisional Officers Ravinderanath and Sivaji, Wyra, Sathupally, and Madhira Municipal Commissioners Vijay Anand, Sujatha and Devender respectively and other officials concerned attended the meeting.
