Collector RV Karnan inspects organic farming in Raghunadhapalem

Khammam: District Collector RV Karnan visited Raghunadhapalem mandal on Thursday and observed the organic farming. During his visit, he interacted with the farmers and enquired about the cultivation methods.

He also inspected the Jal Shakti Abhiyan works in the mandal. Speaking on the occasion, he suggested the villagers to construct rainwater harvesting pits on the premises of their houses, and discussed with officers the measures for improving groundwater levels in the mandal.

Zilla Parishad Chief Executive Officer Priyanka, District Agricultural Officer Jhansi Laxmi Kumari and other officials of Agricultural department accompanied the Collector.
