Collector RV Karnan Police Commissioner Tafseer Iqbal launch Ganesh Shobha Yatra in Khammam

Khammam: As part of Ganesh idols immersion, the Shobha Yatra programme was launched by the Collector RV Karnan and Commissioner of Police Tafseer Iqbal in Khammam town on Wednesday.

Speaking on the occasion, the Collector informed that all arrangements were being made at Munneru Vagu for the idol immersion. He directed the departments concerned to cooperate with the Police department for the successful and peaceful conduct of immersion programme, and added that a large number of idols, not only from Khammam, but from neighbouring districts were being brought for immersion.

Khammam Mayor Papalal, Utsav committee president Vinod Lahoti, Jaypal Reddy, convenor Srihari, members G Vidya Sagar, K Prasanna Krishna, Anjaiah, Gopal, Laxminarayana, Sita Rama Sastry and others attended the programme.
