Come out of KCR's clutches, vote for Cong: Komati to voters
Ketepally (Nalgonda): Congress Senior leader Komatireddy Venkat Reddy stated that Congress party always works for the betterment of poor and downtrodden and in this regard the party had introduced several schemes, including NREGS some 15 years ago and presently the Nyuntam Aay Yojana for the poor.
On Thursday, he participated in parishad poll campaign at Koppolu, Bheemaram, Tungaturthi, Cherukupally villages of Ketepally mandal of Narkrekal constituency in the district.
Addressing the villagers, Komati called upon people to come out of the clutches of 'betrayer' K Chandrashekar Rao and he added that, people should at least now support the Congress which realised the dream of separate State
Stating that AICC chief Rahul Gandhi was going to become the next Prime Minister of the country, he informed that poor would get Rs 6,000 monthly financial aid after Congress comes to power at the Centre.
He also said that Rahul Gandhi would keep his poll promise of waiving off crop loans within 48 hours of the latter taking oath as the PM of the country.
"Chirumarthi Lingaiah, who hailed from poor family became the MLA twice with the support of Komatireddy brothers, but KCR hijacked him unethically," he alleged.
He assured that he and his brother, Komatireddy Rajgopal Reddy, will assist the needy always and urged the villagers to support Congress in Parishad elections and teach a befitting lesson to TRS government who has been passing the time with hollow promises and continuous elections.
In this campaign programme, party Ketepally ZPTC candidate Boppani Swarnalatha, MPTCs of concerned villages, party Sarpanches, local leaders, workers and villagers participated.
Meanwhile, Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee chief N Uttam Kumar Reddy predicted that Congress flag would be hoisted at majority Zilla Parishads offices including Suryapet. On Thursday, he participated in poll campaign at Dorakunta, Kuchipudi and Togarrai villages in Kodad mandal. Addressing the villagers, he said it was the right time to teach party defected leaders and their gang leader Chief Minster K Chandrashekar Rao a befitting lesson. He advised the people to not to fall into the trap of TRS leaders and instead support Congress candidates for the development of their villages.
