Conduct medical camps in villages: District Collector Dr A Sharath

Jagtial: District Collector Dr A Sharath ordered the officials of health and medical department to arrange medical camps immediately in the villages, where more cases of viral fever are reported and to prevent seasonal diseases in view of the rainy season.

He also told them to provide necessary treatment to prevent the spread of the seasonal diseases if any diagnosed. On Friday, he paid a surprise visit to the Primary Health Centre in Medipally mandal in Jagtial district and inspected the ANC and patients' enrolment register and Lab register of the hospital.

Later, the Collector enquired the health officials and staff members of the hospital about the viral fever cases that were registered from the past few days and medical treatment provided to them.

After inspecting the hospital surroundings, Collector Sharath ordered the hospital staff to plant fruit-yielding saplings on the hospital premises along with maintaining the surroundings clean and tidy.

Zilla Parishad vice-chairperson Haricharan Rao, Tahsildar Rajeshwari, Mandal Parishad Development Officer Ravinder, MPTC and Sarpanch were present along with others.
