Congress leader meets CM KCR on district issues
Parigi: The District Congress Committee president, T Rammohan Reddy, said that he would continue to fight for the comprehensive development of the district and strive for the projects which were sanctioned during the Congress rule.
Speaking to the media, here on Thursday, the DCC president said that he met Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao and submitted a memorandum on the issues related to the district. He said everything was ready for commencement of works to establish Navy Radar Station in the district, but the State government has to hand over some forest land at Damagundam.
The former MLA said Chief Minister was in favour of the project. Speaking about other projects, the MLA said he requested the CM to complete the Palamuru-Rangareddy project as early as possible and also the linking of Godavari and Krishna rivers. Rammohan said the CM considered his request of completing the Vikarabad-Krishna railway line and four lane road between Hyderabad to Manneguda.
