Congress leaders Revanth, Sampath held for protesting at Intermediate board

Revanth Reddy along with other Congress leader Sampath Reddy joined the stir at Intermediate Board in Nampally where the student unions and aggrieved parents staged dharna over results goof up. They demanded justice to the students and stringent action against the inter board officials. The Congress leaders demanded an immediate response from Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao over the negligence of the Intermediate Board.

Revanth also said that the education minister has to take overall responsibility of the Inter Board negligence and demanded the latter's dismissal. However, the police arrested Revanth and Sampath and shifted them to Begumpet police station.

On the other hand, the ABVP leaders tried to lay siege the board office. The police beefed up the security at the board to prevent any untoward incidents. Meanwhile, the students and parents demanded the resignation of Inter Board secretary Ashok. They also asked the government to conduct the process of revaluation at free of cost.
