Congress MLAs turn up with black scarves at Telangana assembly

Protesting against the Congress MLAs joining the ruling party, some of the MLAs of Congress -- Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, Sridhar Babu, Jagga Reddy, Podem Veeraiah and Seethakka turned up to assembly wearing black scarves.

The assembly session has begun at 11 am today with all the legislators attending it. The government called for the two-day assembly session to introduce and pass the new municipal bill in the assembly. The bill will be introduced today and it will be passed tomorrow with the consent of all the legislators.
