Congress pulls up government on crop loan waiver, unemployment dole in Suryapet

Huzurnagar (Suryapet): Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee chief and Nalgonda MP Uttam Kumar Reddy stated that Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao has betrayed all sections of people by not fulfilling promises made during the Assembly and Parliament elections.

On Wednesday, he participated as chief guest to a protest organised by Congress leaders and workers at the Tahsildar's office in Huzurnagar.

Addressing the gathering, Uttam expressed his concern over the pending promises of State government and demanded the Chief Minister to waive Rs 1 lakh crop loan in a single go besides providing Rs 3,016 per month unemployment dole and sanctioning of two bedroom houses to all eligible poor in order to realise their housing dream. Later, Uttam along with party leaders submitted a memorandum to the Tahsildar and urged him to forward it to the government for necessary action.

Party leaders, supporters and farmers of Huzurnagar constituency took part in the protest.
