Hyderabad: Leader of the Congress in Assembly, Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, on Tuesday said that they would complain to the President of India and Governor of the State if Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao did not change his attitude towards RTC strike.

Addressing the media, Bhatti stated that if the government did not hold talks with the striking RTC workers then it may lead to constitutional crisis.

He mentioned that President of India and the Governor have the powers to deal with such a situation.

He said that no chief minister in the country behaves like Chandrashekar Rao. The chief minister did not consider the suggestion of the High Court to appoint a committee with former Supreme Court judges to examine the strike of RTC workers, Bhatti criticised.

This shows that the chief minister has no respect towards the constitutional bodies, he flayed. He said that the arrogance of the chief minister has reached to peak level and Telangana has been deprived of democratic spirit.

He condemned the affidavit filed by the government in the High Court that the opposition parties have been conspiring to bring down the government.

He said that if there any proofs for it, they should be divulged. Vikramarka said that the sister organisations of the TRS have also participated in the strike. May be the TRS leaders of those organisations are conspiring to bring down the government, he stated.

MLA D Sridhar Babu said that the chief minister has been unnecessarily blaming the opposition. He wanted to know as to why the RTC workers were not given the salaries.
