Congress to form government at centre: Jaipal Reddy
Karimnagar: Congress will definitely form government at the Centre by winning more number of seats in the Lok Sabha elections and people will see AICC president Rahul Gandhi as the Prime Minister of India, former Central Minister S Jaipal Reddy said confidently.
On Monday, he participated in the election campaign in support of Congress LS candidate Ponnam Prabhakar here.
Later speaking at a press meet at Prabhakar's house here, Jaipal Reddy said that Congress wave is sweeping the country as the Congress manifesto is attracting all sections of people, who are rejecting Narendra Modi's BJP manifesto, which is against the people's wishes.
Congress is going to win all LS seats in Telangana, barring one or two. "The people are with us and they know that it is the Congress, which gave separate statehood status for Telangana.
As soon as the party comes to power, the Congress will fulfill all its promises mentioned in the manifesto," he assured.
Jaipal Reddy appealed the people to cast their votes to the Congress candidate Ponnam Prabhakar and elect him with bumper majority like they had elected MLC candidate T Jeevan Reddy and teach a fitting lesson to the TRS.
Party leaders Lakshminarayana, Karra Rajashekar, Komatireddy Narendar Reddy, Anjan Kumr, Uppari Ravi, Mendi Chandrashekar and Vilas Reddy were present along with others in the press meet.
