Congress victory starts from Peddapalli
Peddapalli: Congress is the only party that respects different cultures and languages in the country, said Manthani MLA Duddilla Sridhar Babu.
Sridhar Babu and former MLA Vijay Ramana Rao had accompanied Agama Chandrashekar, who submitted nomination papers for Peddapalli SC Parliament seat to District Collector and Election Officer Devasena here on Wednesday.
Sridhar further said that Congress victory begins with Peddapalli and urged the public not to forget that it was due to the efforts of Sonia Gandhi that Telangana State was formed. He gave a call to the public to vote for Congress candidates to end Narendra Modi and KCR's rule at Centre and State.
Ponnam submits nominations
On the other hand, Ponnam Prabhakar submitted his nomination papers for Karimnagar Lok Sabha seat to District Collector and Election Officer Sarfaraz Ahmed here at the Collectorate on Wednesday.
He was accompanied by district Congress Parliamentary in-charge T Jeevan Reddy, Hujurabad in-charge Kaushik Reddy, Manakondur in-charge Kavampapalli Satyanarayana and Choppadandi in-charge Meedapalli Satyam.
Later Ponnam asked the public to cast their vote to Congress to make Rahul Gandhi as the Prime Minister. 'If you vote for TRS then that vote will automatically go to BJP,' he said. He asked the people to vote for Congress, which gave separate Telangana State.
Since these elections are between major national parties - Congress and BJP. So, TRS chief K Chandrashekar Rao do not have any role to play in these elections and he cannot do anything by winning just 16 LS seats out of the
total 543. Stating that the Congress announced Rahul Gandhi as its Prime Minister candidate, he challenged KCR to name Prime Minister candidate from Federal Front.
The TRS leaders are boasting of doing enormous development in Karimnagar. They must release a white paper on the development that took place here, he demanded.
